Buddies Place Cat Rescue

Buddies Place Cat Rescue has a sanctuary for un-adoptable cats. These cats live a nice life of indoor/outdoor enclosed space. However, it takes many man hours to take care of all their needs. Buddies Place is in need of people who can commit to taking care of these babies on a regular schedule. It takes two to three hours and a team of two or more people per shift. We are looking for people to do a morning clean and and evening check and feed (this shift should take and hour). They must be taken care of rain or shine and hot and cold. If your are an outdoor, cat loving person who could spend at least day a week helping the cats, please contact us via our e-mail, FaceBook or phone. We need help immediately. Also, if you are good with repairs, laundry, and property upkeep we need your skills.

Mission Statement

We are a Texas based non-profit 501(c)3 organiszation serving the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex.

As our name implies we are a cat rescue organization dedicated to the humane management of the feral and unwanted cat population in our area. We operate a Trap,Spay/Neuter,Release program as well as Adoption and Sponsorship Programs. The cats we have for adoption come from both the feral population (typically as young kittens) and unwanted pets that are either owner surrender or from individuals that have found or know of a cat in need.

All of our adoption kitties are deamed healthy by our vets, altered, tested for Feline Lukemia/FIV, are up to date on vaccinations. We are looking for stable, caring, long term homes. Please browse our Animal pages to view our current list of cats needing a good homes. Details of our adoption policies and procedures can be found here.

We have permanent adoption centers located in two PetSmart stores in the Metroplex; at Lincoln Square in Arlington and at Hulen in Fort Worth where some of our adoptees can be seen.

We operate a non-euthanize policy, so cats we receive that we feel are un-suitable for adoption are never "disposed of". Instead they are given a place at our sanctury located west of Fort Worth. Here we provide a safe, secure and caring place for both domesticated and feral cats. Our sanctury is expensive to run and thus we are very happy to receive either Sponsorship for individual animals or general Donations.

Whatever you reason for visiting our site, please sign our Guestbook, and/orRegister with us for more information and periodic updates.

We'll work with your schedule.
