Fundraising to buy an Epson LCD Projector

We are seeking donations to buy an Epson LCD projector. A mid-range projector costs about 14,000 baht (about £320 / $445) and would be extremely beneficial to providing fun and interactive lessons to the students at the Children's Home school. EWF Global's Humanitarian & Educational Project 2018Children's Home in Sangkhla Buri, on the borders of Burma and Thailand.EWF Global is starting it's first major humanitarian and educational project on the 14th May, 2018. We are sending a volunteer teacher to the borders of Burma and Thailand to assist a Children's Home and their school. They will help provide vital classes to approximately 140 stateless and orphaned children, who are of various ages and levels.
Goal #1 is now complete - fundraising for a projector ($480) in order to make classes fun and interactive for the younger children. Goal #2 - We are now in the process of fundraising to sustain a teacher at the children's home - long term. Consistency and the ability to sustain the language the students have learned is vital. Goal #3 is to set up a modern and up-to-date computer room at the home - suitable for delivering online classes and completely free. For this to be possible, we have to source or have donated the computers, headsets, desks, chairs, and English proficiency resources. This is also in the process of being sourced, but if you can help, please feel free to contact us. ​ Goal #4 - It involves sponsoring the academic development of a child. From the 14th May 2018, we shall be filming and publishing sections of the interviews with underprivileged young learners who wish to receive free online one-to-one lessons - lessons provided by qualified English language teachers. Then, we shall be matching them with sponsors and teachers. Sections of the interview will also be edited and used to assist the teacher in identifying the child's strengths and weaknesses in the English skill sets.

We need fundraisers to assist in making this project a success. Many of our supporters are planning book and garage sales - selling unwanted items from their homes. Some are choosing to sell baked goods at their work or schools. Others are reaching out to their friends, family, business associates, and coworkers. If you would like to make a difference, you can use a number of options.
