Telephone Reassurance for Seniors in Marin County
- Want to help isolated seniors to feel less alone?
- Interested in helping to improve seniors' quality of life?
Make brief check-in telephone calls with seniors in Marin County to ensure their well-being and help to maintain their connection with the community. Telephone Reassurance is a program of Episcopal Senior Communities.
Time Commitment: Monday mornings, 6-month minimum, 1-2 hours per morning
Qualifications: Love to talk on the phone; enjoy older adults; agree to a free background check; attend volunteer training. Complete a log of your calls. Work from our office in San Rafael, or your home!
Bilingual volunteers are also encouraged to apply but everyone welcome and much appreciated!
