Summer Academy

We are looking for volunteers to work with teachers and interns for the upcoming FAE Summer Academy in July/August of 2018.

The Foundation for Academic Endeavors (FAE) works with disadvantaged communities in Skagit Valley creating opportunities for academic growth for low-income families with an emphasis on building leadership and community partnerships.

The primary program is the FAE Summer Academy held on the campus of Skagit Valley College. The program serves pre-school through high school students providing summer literacy, enrichment and STEM instruction in a creative and collaborative manner. The FAE bilingual co-op pre-school will be starting again in September 2018. The pre-school seeks to prepare young children and their parents for kindergarten readiness.

FAE hires experienced teachers and college interns and is run by an active board of directors that enlists the help of over 100 volunteers to offer these two programs. We are looking for volunteers for the upcoming Summer Academy!
