Frustrated by ableism and other barriers that result in the social isolation of people with mental illness? Want to gain experience in social services?
Full Life Care is seeking volunteers for Community Companions, a new pilot project. Volunteers provide companionship to adults (ages 40+) with mental illness, developmental disabilities, and/or other disabilities who want to get more connected to and explore their communities.
Scheduling is flexible and the time commitment is 2-4 hours/month over the course of six months - email us now to learn more!
