Join us for our annual JA in a Day at Fairview Elementary school! All grades, K-5, will be participating in JA's fun, hands-on financial literacy, entrepreneurship, and work readiness programs. This is one of our most popular events and we couldn't do it without the help of our many volunteers! Sign up today to reserve your spot. All volunteers receive a one hour training ahead of time by JA staff. Breakfast and lunch is provided.

K program, Ourselves: Uses compelling stories read aloud by the volunteer, along with hands-on activities to demonstrate helping, working, earning, and saving.

2nd grade program, Our Community: Explores the interdependent roles of workers in a community, the work they perform, and how communities work.

3rd grade program, Our City: Studies careers, the skills people need to work in specific careers, and how businesses contribute to a city.

4th grade program, Our Region: Introduces the relationship between the natural, human, and capital resources found in different regions and explores regional businesses that produce goods and services for consumers.

5th grade program, Our Nation: Provides practical information about businesses’ need for individuals who can meet the demands of the job market, including high-growth, high-demand jobs.
