Oakland Symphony invites you to help us celebrate through music the place and people we call home. We are looking for kind, enthusiastic, and dependable folks to help in Will Call, guide new patrons through the Paramount, sell concert posters, and assist new and renewing subscribers. We will thank you with tickets to the show! Our MUSE VIVO students play side-by-side with the symphony in Rossini's Barber of Seville Overture, and Oakland's own Kev Choice premieres and performs his hip-hop piano concerto, Soul Restoration Suite.

Thursday, March 22

Renewed Subscription Seat Crew (2-3 volunteers)
6:00 - 8:00 pm

Prep the Paramount Theatre for Subscription Night.
Requires comfort with stairs.

Friday, March 23

Box Office Support (2 volunteers)
5:30 pm - top of show

Sell tickets at the door and distribute Will Call tickets.
Comfortable with customer service, computers, reading small print.

Sidewalk Guides (4-8 volunteers)
5:45 pm - top of show

Direct patrons entering the Paramount to the Box Office or their best entrance.
Outside duty.

Volunteer Ushers (6-8 volunteers)
5:45 pm - top of show

Greet patrons and assist those unfamiliar with the Paramount.
Comfortable with customer service.

Information and Merchandise Table (2 volunteers)
5:45 pm - top of show, Intermission, 30 minutes post-concert

Sell concert posters and CD's and field questions.
Comfortable with touch screens, customer service. Will miss last movements of each half.

Subscription Tables (8-12 volunteers)
Training Wednesday, March 21 6:00 - 7:30 pm at different location
5:45 pm - top of show, Intermission, 30 minutes post-concert

Receive subscription forms and distribute artisan chocolates to subscribers.
Comfortable with customer service. Will miss last movements of each half.
