Be a Role Model
We're looking for volunteer basketball coaches.
If you live an active lifestyle, love sports and want to share your passion with the next generation, we want to hear from you!
Come volunteer with us as a Youth Basketball Coach working with children ages 5-13!
Volunteer coaches should know the game of basketball but will be given a curriculum to follow throughout the season.
Spring Youth Basketball season is March 27- May 24, 2018
Practices are one day a week, either on Tuesday or Thursday in Kennedy Middle School (821 Bubb Road, Cupertino). Times are depending on what age group you are coaching.
Ages 5-6: 6-7pm, Ages 7-8: 6-7pm,
Ages 9-10 7-8pm, Ages 11-13: 8-9pm
Games are Saturdays in Hyde Middle School (19325 Bollinger Road, Cupertino). Times are depending on what age group you are coaching. (Games last one hour)
Ages 5-6: 9-10am, Ages 7-8: 10-11 am,
Ages 9-10: 11-1pm, Ages 11-13: 1-3pm
2 hour/week (No practice or games during spring break: 4/7, 4/19 and 4/21.
On the job training provided
Minimum age of 14
Genuinely interested in working with children
Basketball knowledge desired
