Join us for some outdoor fun and exercise as we lay the groundwork for the remaining layers of the public food forest at Spirit of Peace! We will have a giant pile of mulch to move into its permanent home, so the more the merrier!

We will be laying down cardboard to smother the grass, and then covering it with wood mulch.

We will need:
1. Cardboard -- please bring any large pieces of cardboard or paper board you have or can find. We can even use multibple layers of newspaper if you have a ton of that. We can't use anything glossy (including cardboard and paper).
2. Wheelbarrows -- the more people moving mulch, the faster we can go.
3. Pitchforks and large shovels. Plastic snow shovels work the absolute best.
4. Do you have a front loader? We could use one of those too!

These events are always a great way to get kids involved in volunteering and to meet like-minded people. We can't wait to see you there!
