The Long Term Care Ombudsman Program works to protect the rights of residents in assisted living residences and nursing facilities. The program encourages individuals to resolve issues at the lowest level possible. The Larimer County Office on Aging oversees 3 assisted living facilities in Estes Park and could benefit from an Ombudsman volunteer who is in the area.

Description
The Retired & Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) of Volunteers of America provides volunteer opportunities for individuals 55 years and older to use their skills, insight and lifetime experiences to assist residents and non-profit agencies in the county. RSVP also offers a variety of programs which provide services and enhance the quality of life for seniors.
