"The Mission of MDA’s Research Department is to advance research areas from basic to clinical that will accelerate the development of therapies, improve clinical care or result in prevention of the diseases in our program. This is achieved through financial support of meritorious basic, translational and clinical research; support of young investigators, MDA clinical and research infrastructure; education about research efforts; and support for meetings allowing networking and collaboration of interested parties".
