This is a Virtual Opportunity, with no fixed address.
At Aleph, we serve some of the most vulnerable populations: men and women who are institutionalized as well as youth who are incarcerated as a result of mental illness/addiction and their struggling families.
We need your help ensuring that no one feels alone or forgotten.
Volunteer Opportunities include:
Visiting prisons or mental health facilities
Creating a pen pal relationship with an inmate
Mentoring a teenager who is struggling with addiction and/or mental illness
Assisting us with errands for clients: driving and escorting, food pick-up and drop off etc.
Befriending a family member of someone incarcerated
Uploading MP3s with Torah content, educational lectures and uplifting music
Consider providing a critical second chance by considering offering employment at your company (Aleph carefully screens potential candidates)
Performing administrative tasks and research remotely on various Aleph projects
