Having the right board members is critical to the success of Challenge Preparatory Academy during its initial application stage for a charter and the implementation year. Expertise in the area of operations, leadership, finance, academic accountability, compliance with state and federal laws and marketing is needed to have a well-rounded board equipped to oversee and management the school as its own Local Education Agency (LEA). We are seeking board members with these skill-sets to roll up their sleeves and participate in the application process. In addition, we are seeking board members to provide expertise during board meetings about how this organization can achieve its strategic goals to open a Cyber Literacy Charter School in Augusta-Richmond County, ensure financial stability, generate fund-raising activities, and develop a branding & marketing plan.
