Are you interested in Urban Gardening?
We will be doing some maintenance for the growing season. Join us for this volunteer event on Saturday, June 16th 2018 - 9 AM-Noon. Over the last few weeks, volunteers have assisted us in getting this site into shape.
Come out if you are interested in urban gardening.
We will have activities for all skill levels and ages. Be sure to wear sturdy shoes (ie boots and/or sneakers that you don't mind getting dirty). We will meet at our main site but we may deploy to our other sites.
Park Heights Community Alliance grows several thousands of pounds of food for the residents of Park Heights in West Baltimore.

Our mission is to collaborate in the improvement of the health of Baltimore's Park Heights community through wellness initiatives, health education, environmentalism, and service.
Description
The Park Heights Community Health Alliance (PHCHA) was organized in 1996, in a partnership between Sinai Hospital of Baltimore and a handful of concerned Park Heights community residents. The Park Heights community is disproportionately affected by a variety of negative health status indicators. In collaboration with community partners such as Sinai Hospital of Baltimore, Park West Medical Systems, and a host of others, we seek to have a positive impact on the community at large.
PHCHA is committed to improving access to primary care for residents of Baltimore City. PHCHA's goal is to help maximize the Park Heights community's potential as a healthy, safe, and vital neighborhood.
