This year’s event will highlight and celebrate more than 27 years of working with Chicago’s most vulnerable children. You won’t want to miss the opportunity to be involved with this event. We hope that you will join us this year for Once Upon a Time.... at the Castle of Dragons on Saturday, April 14, 2018 at Morgan Manufacturing (401 N. Morgan St. Chicago, IL 60642).
Below you will find more information on this year’s shifts.
Morning (10 AM - 1:30 PM)
Bring the gala to life by setting up linens, table settings, flower arrangements, silent auction displays and raffle tables. Breakfast and lunch will be provided.
Afternoon (1 PM - 5:00 PM)
Help us put on the finishing touches by setting up and monitoring silent auction displays, raffle tables and registration. Lunch will be provided.
Evening (5 PM - 1 AM)
Put on your best dress or snappiest suit and check in guests, sell raffle tickets, monitor the silent auction and more. This shift also requires helping with tear down from midnight to 1 AM. Dinner will be provided at 5 PM.

Mission Statement
The mission of The Children's Place Association is building a secure and hopeful today so children facing health issues and poverty suceed tomorrow.
Description
The agency provides residential care and medical treatment for HIV/AIDS-affected children. It also has a Family Services Program providing a wide variety of support services for intact HIV/AIDS families in the community. These services include; respite care, case management, day care, therapy and group recreational programming. We also recruit, train, license and monitor foster families in the Foster Care Program. Children's Place also runs a DCFS-licensed Day Care and Early Learning Program for 65 HIV/AIDS affected children and a Housing Program, providing stable housing for three low-income families.
