BUSINESS MANAGER --- Experience and Education Preferred // RESUME
Duties

  1. Supervising Business Management Team and provide insight to improve efficiency
  2. Weighing company performance against company monthly, quarterly, and yearly objectives
  3. Developing business plans and strategies to align with company forecasts and goals
  4. Implementing recommendations to improve processes and procedures
  5. Monitoring company resources
  6. Maintaining good relationships with Staff Volunteers
  7. Representing the company at networking events and conferences
  8. Analyzing data and comparing to goals
  9. Monitoring budgeted financial performance benchmarks
  10. Estimating and establishing cost parameters, budgets, campaigns, and potential ROI
  11. Reviewing financial reports to improve budgets and annual operating costs
  12. Supporting marketing, sales, PR, and operations

YOUTH PROTECTION TRAINING
In compliance with our General Liability Insurance policy, Youth Protection Training is required for Roots of Scouting Board of Directors, Committee Chairs/Vice-Chairs, BSA Registered Adult Leaders, including all Volunteers having direct contact with children.

Executive Board of Directors and Executive Committee members are considered in "good standing" when they have completed Background Checks and Youth Protection Training every two years!

You do not have to be a registered member of the Boy Scouts of America to take Youth Protection training.

To take Youth Protection training go to My.Scouting.org and create an account. You'll receive an email notification with your account information, including a member ID/reference number.

From the My.Scouting.org portal, click Menu then My Dashboard from the menu list. The My Training page displays to take Youth Protection training. Upon completion, you may print a training certificate to submit with a volunteer application. Your training will automatically be updated in our system and associated with the member ID/reference number issued when you created the account.

When your volunteer application is approved, you will receive a BSA membership card that includes your member ID number.

4.To encourage African-Americans to participate in traditional Boy Scout leadership training and to sensitize scouters to the African-American experience

5.To provide opportunities for achieving skills and encourage self-esteem development in African-American Scouts

6.To publicize the activities and contributions of African Peoples

7.To promote unity in the family, community, nation, and race
