Mission Statement
The Mission Statement of KCSMA is to provide a safe, positive, learning environment that inspires strong character and challenges all students to aspire to their personal best. As a Room Parent, you will play an invaluable role in helping to achieve this goal.
Description
Kennesaw Charter Science and Math Academy (KCSMA) is a public charter school. There are a few key differences between a traditional public school and a charter school. As a parent of a student at KCSMA, it is beneficial to understand those differences to fully appreciate the experiences that you and your student will encounter. It will also enable you to fully understand the school’s expectations and how they are benefiting your student(s). Three areas that differ from traditional public schools are governance, funding/resources, and reliance on volunteers.
