The Los Angeles County Natural Areas Division is now accepting applications for the Natural Areas Reserve Program. This program assists Los Angeles County Game Wardens by providing natural resource protection, enhanced public service and community outreach. Orientation is mandatory prior to applying and scheduled for Saturday March 24, 2018 at 10am. Through hands on training, participants will be prepared to manage key functions of resource management such as animal husbandry, habitat restoration, interpretation, community outreach, trails maintenance, facility and grounds maintenance. In addition, the Reserve program will prepare individuals interested in careers in conservation for example Park Ranger, Fish and Wildlife Officer, Park Maintenance, Habitat Steward, Wildlife Biologist etc. Come join our team and make a difference as we enhance Los Angeles County's Natural Resources!
