Help pick up books, adopt a branch!

There are over 25 branch libraries in the city that currently accept donated books in small quantities. By adopting a branch you are not only helping to keep books out of the landfill, but also help raise money for the San Francisco Public Library, and take the burden of storing and transporting books from branch librarians.

Responsibilities: You would be picking up donated books at your local neighborhood branch libraries and transporting those books to the Donation Center. Some duties involve re-boxing books from questionable or ripped bags or from very heavy boxes.

Time commitment: 2 hours per week

We currently need help at the following branches:
- Western Addition
- Bayview
- Portola
- Park Branch
- Vis Valley
- Noe Valley
- Ocean View
- Bernal
- Mission Branch
