Get ready to beautify and create a healthy neighborhood with awesome trees! We are always looking for folks to come and help out with Friends of Trees planting events. No tree planting experience needed, just a willingness to learn about trees! We will be planting in the neighborhood of Rockwood (Gresham).

Please arrive to the staging site by 8:45am to enjoy breakfast treats and hot coffee or chocolate. The planting starts promptly at 9:00am. We provide gloves and tools, so all you need to do is show up dressed for the weather and wearing sturdy shoes or boots. Our neighborhood volunteers will also provide a potluck lunch for all volunteers after the planting is complete.

Looking to volunteer as a group? RSVPs are kindly requested for groups of more than 5 people - copy and paste this link http://www.friendsoftrees.org/volunteering/group-registration to do so. RSVPs are not required for individuals or groups of 4 or fewer -- you can simply show up!

For any volunteer under the age of 18 who will be planting WITHOUT their guardian, a pre-signed liability waiver is required on the day of the event. To get a copy of this waiver, feel free to contact the Volunteer & Outreach team!

Please contact Jenny or Pablo at (503) 595-0213 if you have any questions or need more information.
