ORGANIZATION: Special Olympics Southern California

The mission of Special Olympics Southern California is to provide year-round sports training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for children and adults with intellectual disabilities, giving them continuing opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy and participate in a sharing of gifts, skills, and friendship with their families, other Special Olympics athletes and the community. Don't miss your chance to become one of our volunteers needed to create a transformative experience for the athletes with intellectual disabilities who will compete in athletics and bocce.

Volunteers are need for the following tasks:
- Set up/tear down
- Timing for track races
- Assistants for field events (shot put, ball throws, long jump)
- Awards/medal presenters
- Lunch distribution
- Support Services
