Volunteers will help with a variety of tasks, including helping with homework, leading young people through meaningful art activities that focus on asset acquisition and character development, creating and enacting mindfulness activities, facilitating a time of sharing needs and desires during a time of prayer, telling an interactive Bible story, managing free-play, and helping to prepare dinner.

Description
School Year Programming:
Homework and Hangout
Every Wednesday during the school year from 4-6 PM young people of all ages are welcome to join us for Homework and Hangout. Homework and Hangout is designed to stimulate the mind, spirit, body, and creative nature of the young people in our community. Each week, each student participates in a character-building art project or craft, practices mindfulness, prays, learns a Bible story through movement and story telling, engage in free-play, and share a meal together.
