Family Promise of Greater Denver (familypromiseofgreaterdenver.org) provides shelter for families experiencing homelessness and helps them find more permanent housing. When families leave our program to get housed, they often need furniture, and assistance moving that furniture into their new place. We also have many people who want to donate furniture to those families. We are looking for a place (warehouse, garage, storage unit, etc) to store donated furniture until it is needed. We are also looking for 2-3 strong people with a truck or van who could move furniture from the storage place to a family's home when needed.

Description
Family Promise of Greater Denver provides shelter, meals, rental assistance, and supportive services to families experiencing homelessness in the Denver area. We also work with families on employment, long-term housing solutions and other goals to ensure self-sufficiency and a brighter future.
Family Promise of Greater Denver began serving homeless families in 1997 and is part of a national network of 180+ affiliates. Since our founding, we’ve helped more than 1,000 families, including 1,900 children. Today, an average of 70% of families leave with housing and 85% of adults secure employment while they’re in the program!
