DESCRIPTION:
Move For Hunger, a national hunger-relief 501(c)3 organization, seeks a dynamic, self-starter interested in learning about marketing and relationship management to join their Programming Team.

The Program Management Intern will help expand the organization’s network of moving companies, real estate professionals, and corporate housing providers by supporting the Programming Team with member recruitment, engagement, participation, communications, and encouraging the network to collect food for communities across the United States and Canada.

This internship is an excellent opportunity for a student or professional interested in gaining experience in customer relations, marketing, membership management, and non-profit organizational processes, while working for a young award-winning hunger-relief organization.

TIME COMMITMENT:

• 2-3 days/week
• Minimum 14 hrs/week in our Red Bank office

REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:

• College or graduate level students, recent graduates, or professionals looking to change careers
• MS Office Proficiency
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Proactive and self-motivated, yet team-oriented
• Superior organizational skills and attention to detail
• Outgoing Personality with outstanding interpersonal skills
• Interest in making a difference in the community

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Duties and responsibilities will vary from day to day, however, possibilities include the following:

• Assist with recruitment efforts to expand the Move For Hunger network
• Assist with member retention and participation campaigns
• Assist with high volume telephone and email communications with new and existing members
• Data entry, such as recording food donations or researching food banks
• Writing and executing social media posts
• Managing, organizing, and executing mailings, including thank you letters and welcome kits

COMPENSATION:

• This is an Unpaid/Volunteer internship
