Do you love textiles, linens, and fabrics? Africa's Child is in need of a couple volunteers to help sort new donations of linens and fabrics at their thrift store. Do you have an eye for quality? Help us sort out the stained and ripped textiles and prepare the quality pieces for the sales floor. Perhaps you love to quilt, sew, or craft. Then this volunteer opportunity is perfect for you!
Volunteer times are flexible to match your availability between 10am-6pm, Monday through Saturday. We appreciate volunteers to commit to serving at least once a week for 2-3 hours. BONUS: volunteers receive 20% of their purchases in the thrift store and first pick of the fabrics that come in as donations.
Africa's Child exists to support Christ-centered ministries in Zambia, Africa that care for orphans, vulnerable children and their caregivers through the profit from thrift stores in West Michigan. Join our fun team today!
