One service we offer is allowing patients who are actively in treatment to create their own pair of socks, for free! I'm not sure if you've spent time in a hospital, but the socks are bland, low quality and don't keep you warm. We are allowing patients to 1) partake in a creative outlet by designing their own sock 2) bring their personality to treatment and 3) receive a free pair of warm non slip socks they can wear throughout treatment. I'm looking for people to help out with part 1 or who would want to draw illustrations of a whole bunch of things such as cats, dogs, pizza, race car, emojis, skylines, flowers, baseball mit, etc. (the sky is the limit). These images would then be put in a bank for patients to chose from when they are designing their own socks.
I think this is a unique opportunity for you to use your creative skills/mind to positively impact a patients hospital experience. There would be no requirements of time dedicated or # drawings, it would be more of a do as much or as little as you want. Lastly, I can pay you in socks. :) All of the socks on our website were made by a patient and represent something personal to them.
I look forward to speaking with you!

Mission Statement
Empower the patient and affect positive change in everything we do.
Description
Resilience Gives is a fundraising and crowdsupporting platform for people personally affected by chronic illness. We answer the question of "how can I help?" and then provide a platform for patients, survivors, and loved ones to raise money and pay it forward.
Imagine a platform like GoFundMe, except it’s a community of people who have "been there done that." So it’s about providing support to patients when they’re in the thick of treatment, and then helping them find purpose by raising money for something that has personally impacted them.
Because hospitals are notorious for those poorly made hospital socks, we base our fundraisers around custom socks. Patients/friends/family design custom socks and then the proceeds of sales are donated to various health charities.
