During these uncertain times, how can we help?
See below to access our COVID-19 Resource Hub, and to explore our growing directory of COVID-19-specific and virtual volunteering opportunities.
By volunteering for only a few hours or days a month, you can make a difference in the lives of our patients and families. Volunteers can choose to work directly with our patients and their families, in administrative activities at the Kindred offices or in community functions such as heath fairs, memorial services or bereavement assistance.
Our volunteers provide companionship by reading to patients or playing their favorite music. They may run small errands or give caregivers some relief for a small period of time by staying with the patient. Others may use their talents or help patients with arts or craft projects. There are vigil volunteers and veteran volunteers as well.
All volunteers receive special training and are under the direction of our Volunteer Services Coordinator.
