The Open School is holding our annual silent auction gala and we need your help! This year the theme is Fairytale Murder Mystery and volunteers are needed for set up, food and drink service, tear down, and more. You can volunteer for part or all of the evening.
Volunteer slots start at 1:00pm and end at midnight. Opportunities include set up, serving, tear down, check in, check out, raffle sales, and more. If you represent a group, we will probably use your for set up or tear down.

Mission Statement
The Open School is unlike any other school. We begin with the reality of the student: What are their passions? What motivates them? What creates meaning in their lives? We know they already possess many amazing qualities; we don’t need to mold them to fit any standard. And we also know they are in a process of becoming themselves and sometimes ask for help. We facilitate their growth by sitting along side them, by listening, and by asking questions.
Description
The Open School is an institution founded on the principles of genuine freedom and personal autonomy. Enrollees age 5-18 engage in self governance through participatory democracy that has real impact on their daily lives, and spend their time in self-directed exploratory pursuits.
