Community Based Mentoring
Big Brothers Big Sisters - Pikes Peak
Colorado Springs CO
Volunteers are matched with a child (ages 9 to 12) and choose a variety of mutually enjoyable activities in the community. Volunteers commit to a minimum of one year, spending time with the same child two to four times a month for a couple hours each time. Big Brothers Big Sisters staff members support the mentors and match relationship, offering suggestions and providing both counsel and assistance.
This is our traditional program for which Big Brothers Big Sisters (of America) is best and most known for.
Volunteer must be 21 years of age, have a safe driving record, and be able to pass a background check.
Presently, Big Brothers Big Sisters Pikes Peak is in need of male volunteers to be mentors (Big Brothers) to young boys in our community. We currently have a lot of Little Brothers currently enrolled with us waiting to be matched with a Big.
Please consider volunteering today! Also, if you know of anyone who you think may be interested in investing in a youth's life, please send them our way.
