There are 168 hours in every week. Just 1 hour can make a difference for someone experiencing a life-limiting illness. Would you dedicate 1/168 of your week to change lives?

Hospice Volunteers bring comfort and companionship to patients and caregivers, offering essential support at the end of the patient's life. Volunteering is as easy as holding a hand or simply being there with the patient.

About Gentiva Hospice - Pueblo

Location:

1320 Fortino Blvd, Pueblo, CO 81008, US

Mission Statement

We provide compassionate care and extraordinary service to the patients and the families in our community. We strive to keep our neighbors informed about the benefits of hospice so they know how to access quality care when it's needed.

Description

Many think hospice is only about end-of-life care, but it's so much more than that. Gentiva helps people with life-limiting illnesses and their loved ones make the most of their time together. We provide unique plans of care that address the emotional, spiritual, and physical needs of each individual patient and their caregivers.
Bereavement support is available up to 1 year and 1 month after the patient has passed. With so many opportunities to assist along the hospice journey, we can easily adapt your volunteer experience to meet your needs.
