Volunteer Project Manager: Barbara Abbey, Director of Development
Time Commitment: 3-5 hours once: Friday, March 30 2018 at our head office in Centennial, CO.

Project Description:

Our quarterly Thank-A-Thon is an amazing opportunity for volunteers to thank our donors and constituents for their generous donations. Making a thank you call is a simple, powerful act that helps to demonstrate our gratitude for their generosity. Volunteers are provided with training, script, telephone station and FAQs. Participating in this event is a powerful to way to help us grow and thrive in 2018.

Impact of Volunteer Project: Our organization hosts a Thank-A-Thon to call donors and constituents to thank them for their support during the last quarter. We provide an in office phone, call list, and script to talk with constituents. This IS NOT a solicitation call. It is truly just a way to thank them for their support. In addition, we try to update their contact information and offer them a free subscription to our quarterly magazine - Stroke Smart. You will help by showing our appreciation for our donors and constituents, without their support we would not be able to operate.

Skills and Qualifications Needed: Basic computer and telephone skills.

If you are interested in participating in this event, please contact: Amy Herron, Senior Coordinator, Programs, at aherron@stroke.org
