ORGANIZATION: The Medical Team Hospice

THE MEDICAL TEAM Hospice is seeking caring and compassionate Hospice Volunteers with certified pets for pet therapy. Our volunteers are indispensable, key members of the Hospice care team. As a Pet Therapy Volunteer, you will provide patients and families comfort, affection, and serenity. The supportive benefits of pet therapy are priceless and unique to all other therapies. Please share your time, talents and interests.

The Medical Team Hospice provides training to volunteers. We do pay for and require a background check and TB test. Volunteers are responsible for pets being certified as a pet therapy dog prior to assignment. Hours are flexible, according to your availability.

We would love to meet with you and find out more about how we can work together and how you can make a difference in the lives of those who need it most. If interested, please contact Darlene Wright, Volunteer Coordinator via mail dwright@medteam.com or by phone at 734-779-9790 or text 248-798-0827.
