Hay Ride
As part of our agriculture component, we learn about farm animals, crops, hay and even went on a hay ride!

Holistic Riding Equestrian Therapy (HRET) is designed to improve the physical, emotional, cognitive, and social aspects of the lives of children and adults with special needs and veterans with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). HRET offers a variety of skill appropriate classes meeting the needs of preschoolers on our ponies to independent riders on our program safe horses.

This is a rewarding experience for everyone involved. Please consider joining our organization as the more volunteers we have, the more riders we can teach! You do not need experience with horses to volunteer!

Morning classes consist of both riding and a "farm experience" portion. We need someone to help teach and/or design curriculum(s) based on agriculture, enviornment, animals, and/or natural resources. We are specifically focusing on taking care of animals. We also need other volunteers to help with the horses in the arena.

Please feel free to visit our website holisticridingtherapy.org for more information or contact hretrider@gmail.com if you are interested in learning more.

We have a volunteer training date on March 11th. Please email for more information
