Will unload vehicles, put equipment in designated areas to be erected or assembled, act as a "go-fers" who runs errands for more senior staff. Typical setup activities include setting up tables and chairs, helping with audio-visual equipment, hanging signs, placing decorations, setting out materials such as program books and putting together buffet tables, help take down events, etc.

Orientation and slots to select your desired day and time are available.

Mission Statement

The Big Picture Film & Video Foundation was established to educate and support students and emerging filmmakers and content creators whose emphasis is screen-based media, to prepare them for success in the "big picture" of film & video production in Georgia. The Big Picture Film and Video Foundation provides year-round educational programs in film and video production for students, film/video educators, new and emerging independent filmmakers, and residents of the metro Atlanta area. Programs consist of educational workshops, seminars, panels and master classes. The BigPictureCon Film & Technology Conference is the Foundation’s signature event, aninformative summit comprising of 2 days of educational sessions on various film & digital media entertainment industry topics and networking with industry professionals and peers.

Description

The BigPictureCon Film & Technology Conference is the Foundation’s signature conference event. The 2-day BigPictureCon was developed to provide an environment where students and industry newcomers who are seeking opportunities in the visual media industry can participate in a unique education, exhibition and networking experience with industry professionals and peers. The Foundation seeks to impact Georgia’s burgeoning film and video/TV production industry by utilizing new and emerging independent filmmakers, and making it possible to retain students in the many college and university communications and production programs within Georgia State.
