ORGANIZATION: Compassus Hospice

Compassus -Serving with Heartfelt Compassion
At Compassus, our mission is serving terminally ill patients and their families with compassion, integrity, and excellence. The colleagues of Compassus are committed to keeping The Hospice Promise by delivering the highest quality of care, serving the needs of patients and families and spreading the stories of hospice to those whom they come into contact. Our goal is to provide the greatest possible comfort and care for those who experience one of life’s most intimate and challenging moments.

Veteran-to-Veteran Volunteers

Compassus is proud to participate in the We Honor Veterans program. Many of our locations provide trained veteran volunteers who offer camaraderie and compassionate care for fellow veterans. Our veteran-to-veteran volunteers understand the unique needs of veterans because they ARE veterans.

Because you "walked the walk and talk the talk" you are especially needed to spend time with patients who want to recall their time in the military. Even if you didn't serve you are still part of the "Military Family".

We Serve patients in Chester, Delaware, Montgomery counties.
