- Our goal is to organize a team of medical volunteers who will be posted at strategic locations during the event to better support cyclists and to further enhance the safety of the Bike MS Event.
- We are looking for first-aid and CPR-certified medical volunteers (nurses, EMT’s, doctors, and other medical personnel) who are willing to serve at rest stops, lunch, the finish line, as medical cyclists, or at the overnight location.

Medical Volunteer Responsibilities:
- Care for cyclists with minor injuries at rest stops.
- Provide Basic first aid, bandaging, splinting, as needed to cyclists.
- Be on the look out for warning signs of dehydration, hypo/hyperthermia and other environmental emergencies as cyclists come into locations.
- Help determine if a cyclist or volunteer needs additional medical assistance.
- Make recommendations to lead staff about whether or not a cyclist or volunteer should proceed with the event following an injury.
