We have an immediate need for Math tutors to help in our after-school Learning Lab program at the Monsanto Family YMCA (5555 Page Blvd.), working with students in grades 1-12 on basic Math skills.
No prior tutoring experience is needed and there is an instructor in the room to provide direction.
We had an influx of new students, including students in foster care, who are in desperate need of a Math tutor. You can volunteer between 1-4 hours per week, on Mondays and/or Wednesdays and change a life forever!
Here are the session times:
Mondays and Wednesdays Math Sessions:
- Group 1 Mon/Wed: 4:30-5:30pm
- Group 2 Mon/Wed: 5:30-6:30pm (greatest need with this group)
If you are interested please email jeff.hood@gwrymca.org with the days and times you would like to help, and we will email you the online volunteer application and required trainings.
Thank you!!!
