Grant Researcher Volunteer’s Responsibilities

We are eager to welcome a Grant Researcher Volunteer to our team. Responsible for all aspects of research work available for grant suiting our project and geography from various foundations, corporations, and government sources. Provide essential research for the development of our grant application strategy. A Grant Researcher must be an excellent researcher who can finds the funding organization who’s grants match with our non-profit organization. Possess broad knowledge of organizational structure, functions and needs. The Grant Researcher will be responsible researching and coordinating the grant application process; management of proposals and maintaining a grantmaker database.


The Ideal candidate must have access to Grant Database and experience in Research or fund-raising department of non-profit organizations with excellent analytical skills. Proven track record with institutional donors. Knowledge and familiarity with research techniques for fundraising prospect research. Detail-oriented, organized, proactive, clear, motivated self-starter with the ability to analyses market for fundraising and work independently with the help of Google Drive, Trello and Slack in a fast-paced environment. Use Independent judgement and produce a quality work product within tight time constraints. Excellent knowledge of Google Applications (Google Drive). Strong belief in Organization’s mission.

The Grant Researcher is a virtual volunteer position that works directly with the Fundraising Team. We are looking for volunteers who can help us to grow by bestowing their skills and time towards mission of ANC.
