Destiny Institute International is hosting a job readiness program for unemployed men and women, and single moms. The job readiness workshop will equip participants with tools to help them succeed in landing their dream job or growing their career.


We are looking for a gifted, organized event planner to help with minor event activities including - meeting room set-up each week, collecting and entering surveys, managing the room during workshop meetings, and scheduling. See below for the 8-week agenda

  • Week 1 - Finding your passion and choosing a purposeful career
  • Week 2 - Creating your personal brand
  • Week 2 - Creating an online profile
  • Week 3 - Winning cover letters and resumes
  • Week 4 - Job searching techniques
  • Week 4 - Online applications
  • Week 5 - Portraying confidence
  • Week 5 - Effective interview techniques
  • Week 6 - Negotiating a starting salary or salary increase
  • Week 7 - Practice Interviewing
  • Week 8 - Summary, Q&A, gift*, networking
