Mission Statement

We are dedicated to improving the lives of others through the provision of food, clothing, shelter, education and employment. Our Mission is to educate and empower others to use their gifts, talents, creativity and life experiences to create a meaningful life.

Description

The program seeks address the occurrences of children who may be or are at risk of abuse or neglect due to stressors brought on by Domestic Violence, Homelessness, temporary or long-term financial hardships, Single Parenting, and other circumstances. The program will provide solution-based strategies to address, prevent and/or provide alternatives to help solve the issues that may result in children being at risk for abuse or neglect.

Hannah’s Family and Childsafe Program is a voluntary service for families. We work in the community to provide education and awareness of issues that endanger the overall wellbeing of the child, such as a Toxic environment, family stressors, hardships, domestic violence, substance abuse, depression and other factors contributing to the breakdown of the family foundation. Child Abuse and Neglect is not just a family issue; it’s a community wide issue. Everyone who comes in contact with the child must be aware of the signs, strategies for encouraging families to talk about the problems, address issues the child may be experiencing as result, reporting protocols, intervention procedures and tools for rebuilding the family foundation.
