We are a Mental Health & Suicide Education organization.

We have a passionate team full of positive energy and enthusiasm for the cause, and we are looking for similar volunteers to have on board!

We are gearing up for our big Red Carpet Gala Launch Event, where we will be featuring artists, musicians, psychologists, speakers of mental health topics, and filmmakers. This is a huge undertaking, and all huge undertakings need a great team! We need your help!

If you have any experience with Public Relations, Event planning, Fundraising, Outreach;
Or if you are just a Caring, Creative, Passionate individual with some free time and the desire to help us create a social change-- this volunteer opportunity is for you!

You will be able to see, gain a ton of knowledge and experience, and work within the inner workings of 4 very different worlds at the same: Psychology, Non-Profit Organizations, Event planning, and Filmmaking

You will have the potential to grow with a great cause, and to really make a difference in saving lives on a mass scale. Not to mention...

Potential to bring awareness into the importance of Mental Health
Potential to educate the public on how to Prevent Suicide
Potential to grow with an organization and become a part of a family.

While you are volunteering with us, your work will be a conduit for creating positive social change, inspiring those who are in need, bringing awareness and education, and of course, SAVE LIVES in doing so!

Los Angelinos preferred, but even if you are located somewhere else within the states-- Please don't hesitate to apply! We also have virtual positions available and We may be looking for your exact set of skills!

Mission Statement

BreakingTaboo is an organization that is aiming to create a societal change around mental health awareness and suicide prevention! We are dedicated to breaking the taboo against mental health and saving lives by killing the silence associated with suicide and providing critical suicide education and resources.

Description

We utilize a variety of platforms in order to promote mental health awareness and mental well being. We provide much needed education to the public about suicide prevention, suicide resources, inspirational stories, and debunking the myths associated with suicide while promoting useful facts.
We love working with and promoting artists and ambassadors for mental health awareness.
We work in the film industry and produce motion picture educational content , including documentaries.
We are looking for anyone with a passion for this cause and would like to help us promote awareness and save lives!
