Opportunities available to be a patient support volunteer. As a volunteer, you will visit our patients to provide companionship and support through conversation, leisure activities, or by being a supportive presence. You may also provide respite for caregivers so they can have some time away for themselves. Volunteers help patients and their families when they need help the most. No matter what your talents or interests, you can make a difference in someone's life. Description
Volunteers are an integral part of the hospice team. Hospice volunteers are there to hold a hand and listen, read or write a letter, run errands or even help out in the office. Volunteers are also there to step in when a family member needs a break. No matter what your skills, talents or motivation, we have the opportunity for you to help.
