We are looking for a few special leaders interested in mentoring and leading a multi-level, elementary troop of 10-12 girls in Northern Kentucky.

This unique troop will consist of K-5th graders, who really want to and love being Girl Scouts! We are looking for a couple of committed leaders, who enjoy working with elementary-aged children. You can help the girls gain confidence to grow as young leaders. If you like to have fun with children, and you want to see them learn and grow--this group is for you!

Mission Statement

"Girl Scouting builds girls of Courage, Confidence and Character who make the world a better place."

Description

Girl Scouts is for girls-and it ALWAYS will be!

In Girl Scouts, girls discover the fun, friendship, and power of girls working together. Through a myriad of enriching experiences, such as STEM hands-on events, extraordinary field trips, sports skill-building clinics, community service projects, cultural exchanges, and environmental stewardships, girls grow courageous and strong. Girl Scouting helps girls develop their full individual potential; relate to others with increasing understanding, skill, and respect; develop values to guide their actions and provide the foundation for sound decision-making; and contribute to the improvement of society through their abilities, leadership skills, and cooperation with others.

One of the most powerful results of living the Girl Scout Law is the ability to exercise and recognize true leadership. Being honest and fair, courageous and strong, using resources wisely, respecting yourself and others, and making the world a better place...these are values that our staff and our volunteers on a national and a local level continually teach, model, and reinforce.
