Crooked Creek Christian Camp utilizes volunteers in the kitchen during our summer youth program. Volunteers need to wear close toed shoes, have hair pulled back, and wear shirts with sleeves. Volunteers will assist with food prep, serving and clean-up of meals. Opportunities for volunteers involve 1 to 2 volunteers for meals between June 7 and July 13. An on-line sign up will be available in April, however, we will gladly take your name and number now and contact you once the sign-up is posted.

Description
Crooked Creek Christian Camp is owned and operated by the Southeast Iowa Mennonite Camping Association composed of 17 Mennonite churches and numerous individuals. Click here to learn more about the Mennonites and the Anabaptist belief. The Association, which meets annually, elects a nine-member board to provide direction for the staff.
Programming for children and youth includes (but is not limited to) resident camps for children in grades 1 - 12 each summer, day camp for kindergartners with a grandparent, and winter weekend camps for junior high youth.
In addition, various adult programs are held throughout the year including a day for senior citizens, occasional marriage retreats, canoe trips, nature days, craft retreats and others. When the camp is not sponsoring its own camps or programs, the facilities are available for church groups, families, and others to rent. See " Facilities" section for further information.
