WILD- A Summer You'll Never Forget

Hillsboro Parks & Recreation offers volunteer camp counselor opportunities for their WILD program (Wetlands Individual Leadership Development) at the Jackson Bottom Wetlands Preserve. WILD counselors volunteer in an outdoor nature day camp for youth ranging in ages 6 to 12. Day camps may include field trips or overnight camping. Applicants must be enrolled in any high school during the 2020-2021 school year and at least 14 years old. Volunteers are required to attend a virtual screening interview in the month of April. Selected applicants attend an orientation on 5/9 (subject to change due to school/facility closures). Students must apply online by 5/1.
