ACADEMIC CREDIT
If intern wishes to receive academic credit for the internship, it will be the intern’s responsibility to make arrangements with his or her school. BkMSCC will provide the necessary job description and performance review upon request.
POSITION SUMMARY
BkMSCC is looking for intelligent and creative writers to help he organization obtain grants. Grant Writers will work under the direction of Amoni Brown..
RESPONSIBILITIES
* Obtain leads for grants from R&D department or set links * Keep track of hours via database and grants written for * Developing letters, proposals, and other informational materials about BkMSCC for potential sponsors * Providing feedback and recommendationsQUALIFICATIONS
* Enthusiasm and interest in helping the communit* Excellent research skills, writing and organizational skill * Intermediate experience with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint * Ability to meet deadlines and effectively multi-task
PREFERRED SKILLS
* Experience in grant writting * Beginning to intermediate experience with Google DriveWHAT YOU WILL GAIN

Brooklyn Multi-Service Community Center, Corp. is a non-profit organization that organizes and works in partnership with local community leaders, businesses, government agencies, academic and research institutions, non-profit organizations, and individuals to achieve innovative, sustainable solutionS for the community. #collectivefocus
We accept volunteers of all ages, if you are under 13 a parent or guardian must accompany you . If you are in an internship or HRA program, please specify. We are willing to fill out any paperwork, it is your responsibility to keep in contact with your program (if you have one). With on-going commitment we are willing to write letters of recommendations and/ or give out achievement certificates at our discretio.
