Caring Callers Due to Covid the patient/family or even the volunteer might not be comfortable seeing the patient in person this is why we have Caring Callers. These dedicated volunteers will make phone or do Zoom calls to check in on patients and brighten their days. This can be done remotely from the volunteers home or even on a lunch bread at work. The typical call time is 15 - 20 minutes on the phone and half hour or longer on zoom. Did you know that you can play different games on zoom and by doing so have real interaction with the patients? We'll be happy to show you how.

Caring Cards this is just what the name implies the volunteers write encouraging notes inside thinks of you and other appropriate cards. The patients love getting cards that they can look at and reread throughout the days and weeks. Some patient may even write back and start doing a pen pal friendship. The cards can be picked up and sent from the office so you personnel information stays private.

Neither of these opportunities take a lot of time but the make a big difference in the lives of the patients. Can you spare a few minutes to make a positive difference ?

*** Due to differing state laws and policies on volunteers this opportunity is for those local to the Indianapolis and Crown Point areas.
