Mission Statement

To reduce the cycle of homelessness for working individuals and families whose wages present financial challenges for homeownership by providing knowledge and education towards credit improvement; setting the stage to alleviate housing barriers with affordable home placement.

Advocacy to Alleviate Homelessness, Inc.; (AAH, Inc.) is a 501C3 nonprofit organization licensed for charitable, educational and humanitarian purposes to alleviate homelessness and provide assistance to low income "working" individuals, families and veterans with benefits seeking affordable home ownership by providing educational assistance towards resolution of fraudulent and/or invalid items found on their credit report. During the credit review process, we talk with them about budgeting, expenses, gaining financial ground and stability.

Our targeted population are those employed but residing in transitional housing or on section eight (8) waiting list whose wage doesn't provide the opportunity for homeownership. We believe that helping individuals obtain their goal of permanent, affordable homes is the cornerstone to assisting with the quality of life.

Getting to the heart of the matter and making a difference that impact the lives of our clients and the community where it counts most. Safe, well-constructed properties; yet affordable to lower wage earners will require more than words on paper, and words out of mouth. It will require solid evidence; proof of one's dedication to the cause.
