Thank you for your continued dedication to the Parks and Recreation Department. To protect public health and slow the rate of transmission of COVID-19 (novel coronavirus), all recreation centers, pools, and facilities managed by the Parks and Recreation Department will close to the public until further notice. This volunteer opportunity is only open to those seeking to fulfill court-mandated volunteer hours.

Volunteers assist City staff with care of the Balboa Park Golf Course every Monday afternoon between the hours of 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. (Volunteers will coordinate with the project supervisor the times they will complete their hours.)

Volunteers must be able to bend regularly and stand on uneven surfaces, at times on an incline, and be outside for extended periods picking up golf balls.

Volunteers' applications are subject to prior approval.
