It’s hard to get by in the 21 st century without a basic knowledge of computers, and our patrons are eager to learn! Wells Branch Community Library provides free, small-group computer lessons to adult patrons each month to assist in their personal goals or to enhance their employment prospects. The computer instructor will lead 2 Saturday workshops per month, each lasting 1.5 hours and with a maximum of 6 students at any time. The library will work with the volunteer to schedule workshop dates & times that are convenient for their schedule.
Completed volunteer application and interview with the library's volunteer coordinator are required. The selected candidate will be provided with orientation and training materials, and will shadow one of the library's current computer instructors during a workshop prior to beginning their service.
